Tynagh Energy slumps to €1.3m loss, but plans continue to expand gas-fired power station

Tynagh Energy, the company behind a 400MW gas-fired power station in Loughrea, Co Galway, swung to a €1.3m loss last year as revenue slumped almost 30pc to €102.1m. The company had made a €13.2m pre-tax profit in 2019.
