Tell us: has the climate crisis forced you to move?

We’d like to speak to people around the world who have had to leave their homes because of conditions worsened by the climate emergency

Natural disasters force an average of 21.5 million people around the world to leave their homes each year, according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees – a figure that is expected to grow as the climate emergency intensifies.

Meanwhile, a recent survey found that nearly a third of Americans who moved in 2022 cited the climate crisis as a reason to relocate.

We would like to speak to people around the world who have recently left their home, or are trying to do so, due to issues exacerbated by the climate crisis.

Have you left your home because of repeated wildfires in the area, or been forced away by dangerous flooding? Have extreme temperatures or water scarcity made your area difficult to live and work in?

We are also interested in hearing from people who are concerned about these issues but unable to move.
