Stubble burning on rise in Punjab, Amritsar tops list; PPCB imposes Rs 4.83 lakh fine

Of the 925 fires reported, 558 sites have been visited. Stubble burning was reported only at 199 sites and 361 were not guilty of it. Environment compensation was imposed on 178 sites.
